Sensei Germán Carballo began to train Karate in 1988, by December 1996 he reaches his Kuro Obi grade (black belt). Although he fulfilled the instructor roll for several years, since 2009 he founded the Dojo Stirrup doing it actively. He currently holds the Yondan degree (4th Dan) and is the representative for Uruguay of the I.F.K.
Besides having competed throughout his career in different modalities, he has been part of the national delegation (as a competitor, referee and coach) that has represented us at an international level in South American and World competitions. Sensei Germán Carballo serves as President of the A.K.K.U. and he is the director of the Dojo Stirrup.
